This saying can apply to anything from lifting to school like now. It’s a saying that I think is indicative of pushing the limits. I thought I was done the quarter but I have "just one more...” assignment

They thought they would make it easier in my classes to shorten the quarter so we would have more time to study for other finals... What happened though is ALL of my teachers did that so instead of finals week being in two weeks... It was this week in all reality for me and several other students but luckily my quarter is pretty much done now! I filmed my final projects so check those out!

Almost done with the quarter. I’m curious though: Have you ever been told not to eat after 8 but get HUNGRY before bed? Check out the video.

This week has been SUPER busy busy with final projects. I’m still doing well though! Low A's and high B's! And I’m enjoying my research! I get to study: Traumatic Brain Injury, olfaction, and my passion redox signaling molecules!

Burn calories without exercising?!

I’m going to try to post more helpful fitness advice in addition to my weekly updates on me and how I'm doing! So you have most likely seen those commercials for pills that claim to burn away your fat without any exercise or changes to your current lifestyle. While this is a grand idea, there’s NO SUCH THING as a magic pill that makes you skinny... Even "fat burners. Are supposed to be used in conjunction with an exercise and nutrition program such as my ProFit-busy professional health plan. (Shameless plug to contact me for details!) EVERYTHING you can burns calories, even sitting. Although you burn calories just sitting, it’s not nearly as many as say working out. Not that you’re aware of your body CONSTANTLY burning calories, I thought I would give you all some tips to increase your NEAT (non exercise activity thermogenesis).
  • STAND (this also relieves stress on your back)
  • ​Go for a walk with your family (or alone)
  • Take the stars instead of the elevator or escalator
  • Park far away from the door of the store you’re going to in the parking lot.
  • Take frequent "breaks" and walk to the coffee pot at work (even if you don’t get coffee)
  • Use the restroom at the far end of the office..​
  • Lift weights or pace during phone calls.
  • Pick a printer far away from your desk to print your documents .
  • Consider getting a standing desk

I am able to do so much more now that I have the DBS! Today I was able to navigate multiple desktops on my NEW laptop that I won in a FREE contest to present on a paper on keratinocyte proliferation! I am rocking school!
