I want to BE DONE ALREADY!!! +3 things keeping you fat

I feel overwhelmed but also excited! I’m taking 13 credits which is a lot given how much more effort I have to put into each class... Now that I got my complaints out of the way, we can get to business! Helping you to #livelongerfeelbetter and #addlifetoyouryears! I filmed a YouTube video about how to increase the intensity of your workout without increasing the weight because I know that a lot of you still don’t have access to a gym. In addition to these tips, it’s getting to be shredding season so I thought I would tell you 3 things that are secretly keeping you fat...
1. Lack of activity- yes, you workout everyday but that’s a half hour? An hour? MAYBE 2? What about the other 22-23 hours of the day?!
2. Relying too heavily on calorie counters like MyFitnessPal. DON’T get me wrong, I love MyFitnessPal and consistently use it to give me a ROUGH estimate of calories I consume. What I find trips up most people is putting in their exercise. Calories in calories out right?! While that is a true statement on the energy balance of the body, how many calories are you ACTUALLY burning? I are you sure the estimated caloric burn is correct for you? I read somewhere that those estimates are as much as 50-60% off. In other words, I wouldn’t trust them. They’re a great tool if used correctly but I would try to pick up the cues from your body.
3. MINDSET- I know that a lot of people who are trying to lose weight think when they fail, “well I’m just meant to be fat I guess " or "it’s just my genetics." You may be more prone to a larger or smaller size but GENETICS DON'T DETERMINE your life! They play a role yes but YOU CONTROL YOUR OWN DESTINY! So stop making excuses and pursue your goals! YOU are the only person who can change your life! So go out there and become your own version of #Themightymiracleman!
