About me and my journey I am affectionately known worldwide as Themightymiracleman. I have been around different doctors of physical therapy for years as a TBI survivor. I was never expected to walk, run, ride a.bike or swim after sustaining a life altering traumatic brain injury at the young age of only 18! I have seen my multiple therapists who simply gave up as soon as I could care for myself. This unacceptable behavior was primarily because I didn’t fit the "normal" profile for someone in rehab and most of the therapists I worked with didn’t assess my individual goals. I was part of the population that "fell between the cracks". I didn’t accept the prognosis that I would just have to live with this “new normal.” I researched and applied various techniques and treatments both on my own and under a physical therapist. I have goals! Most therapists, like I said, simply gave up on me because they didn’t know what to do! I NEVER gave up on myself though and now I’m training for Ironman triathlon, bodybuilding shows, and own Themightymiracleman training company aimed at helping disabled veterans and other disabled people achieve their goals! I have been through years of physical therapy as a TBI survivor and have actually participated in physical therapy in a wide range of settings. I can relate on a deeper level with patients because of this. I also have a very warm personality that will help me make friends with other therapists. My superior problem solving ability would also likely make me a go-to resource for difficult cases.
